Key Points for Daily Maintenance of Diesel Generators

2026-04-20

Engine Oil: Regularly check oil level and quality; replace engine oil and oil filter on schedule.

Coolant: Check liquid level and freezing point; prevent water shortage, leakage, and scaling.

Fuel System: Keep the fuel pipeline clean, drain water and sediment regularly, and use qualified diesel fuel.

Battery: Check voltage and terminal connections; maintain sufficient power, free of oxidation and looseness.

Air Filter: Clean or replace in a timely manner to avoid intake blockage and engine wear.

Heat Dissipation: Remove dust and oil dirt from the radiator to ensure good ventilation and heat dissipation.

No-load Test Run: Conduct a short no-load operation weekly to check for abnormal noise, oil leakage, water leakage, and electric leakage.

Pipeline Sealing: Inspect fuel pipes, water pipes, and exhaust pipes for leakage and looseness.
